GET INVOLVED
Learn
The most important way you can help YOTO youth is to educate yourself about the issues they face. Luckily, there are excellent resources online and in our community.
Check out our Learning Library to get started!
Make a Gift
YOTO’s work is made possible by the many individuals, businesses, foundations, clubs, and more who support our organization and the youth we serve. There are lots of ways to contribute!
Make an AZ Charitable Tax Credit Donation
Did you know that your gift to YOTO qualifies for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit? By making a financial contribution of up to $400 per donor ($800/couple filing jointly), you can get a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Arizona state taxes!

YOTO’s Qualified Charitable Organization Code is 20365

Support the Mini Mall
What is the Mini Mall?
YOTO’s Mini Mall is a place where students can shop for all their basic needs supplies… for free! It’s also where students receive guidance and support from YOTO staff and access the many services YOTO provides. Students may visit the on-site Mini Mall at 2525 N Country Club, or request items at the click of a button through the YOTO Portal.
Where do the supplies come from?
Our Mini Mall is stocked through the generosity of community members, organizations, civic clubs, and local businesses – THANK YOU!
An up-to-date list of most-needed Mini Mall items is available here!

Employer Matching Program
Many employers have giving programs that facilitate giving for employees and often, match their gifts! You can look up your place of work here to find out more about what your company offers.
Make a QCD through your IRA
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), or “IRA Charitable Rollover Gift,” is a distribution of funds directly from your IRA to a qualified nonprofit (like YOTO). If you are over the age of 70 and have an IRA, a QCD might be one of the most tax-efficient ways for you to give.

• Recipient’s Account: Youth On Their Own
• Recipient’s Account #: TU13346
• DTC# 0221

Leave a Legacy
A gift to YOTO through your will or estate ensures that your commitment to making a difference in the lives of youth experiencing homelessness will continue beyond your lifetime. Planned gifts may be revocable or irrevocable and include bequests through your will or living trust, retirement plan or life insurance policy beneficiary designations, charitable trusts and charitable gift annuities. Donors who inform YOTO of their plans to leave an estate gift become members of our Legacy Society – join us today!
